Cuttack: Tension gripped Belanta village under Tigiria police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district after several bombs were hurled following a group clash last night.
According to sources, more than 10 bombs were hurled during the clash which erupted between two groups over alleged past enmity. Several persons are said to have sustained injuries in the incident.
On being informed, Athgarh SDPO along with Tigiria police reached the village and tried to restore peace. Police personnel have been deployed in the village to prevent further flare-ups.
