Niali: Panic gripped Pasanga village under Niali block in Cuttack district after bombs were hurled at two houses late on Thursday.
According to reports, six miscreants came on three motorcycles and threw bombs at the houses of Akhil Behera and Jayant Behera. They immediately fled the spot.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and started investigation.
“The reason behind the attack is not yet known, but it is suspected to be the fallout past enmity. However, no one was injured in the bomb blast and no major damage reported,” a police officer said.
