A 30% hike in salary and retirement age up from 58 to 61 years!
That’s the bonanza announced for state government employees by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday.
The raise will be effective from April 1, and will benefit over 9 lakh employees employees.
The previous pay revision for state government employees – 43% increase — was done in 2014, soon after the formation of Telangana following bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
