Book On Sustainable Agriculture Released In State Capital

Bhubaneswar: ‘Sustainable Agriculture: Theory and Practices’, a book authored by Bidyadhar Maharana and Prof. Subodh Kumar Sahu, was released at a function held here by Dr Aurobinda Behera, former member, Board of Revenue, Government of Odisha, Prof. R.P. Mohanty, former Vice-Chancellor of SOA Deemed to be University and Achyut Das, Director of Agragamee, Kashipur.

Several scientists and professionals were present. Dr Amiya Kumar Behera introduced the authors and briefly spoke about the book containing 12 chapters on the theory and practices of sustainable agriculture including alternative, climate resilient and nutrition-sensitive agriculture.

The book will be useful for students, researchers, policymakers, and candidates preparing for civil services examinations, he said.
