Puri: The 100 ft long boundary wall of Parbati Sagar, a holy water body on Lokanath Temple premises in Puri, collapsed on Friday following incessant rain for the last couple of days.
However, no one was injured in the incident.
Local residents said the wall was in dire need of repair and they had been demanding for the same for the past two months after cracks developed on it, but neither the Lokanath Temple Trust, which is responsible for its management, nor the district administration took any action.
