Bhubaneswar: Parents of an 11-year-old boy, who reportedly escaped an abduction bid on March 30, submitted CCTV footage of the incident at the Infocity police station in the Odisha capital on Thursday.
According to sources, some miscreants gagged the boy and pulled him into the car while he was standing outside the house at Prashanti Vihar.
They later dumped him near Barang and fled the spot. The boy borrowed a mobile from the fruit seller near Nandankanan and informed his father about the incident.
“My father immediately came and took me home. There were three people in the car and they were speaking in Odia,” the boy told a local news channel.
