New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Monday started doorstep delivery service of diesel in Delhi in collaboration with a startup – Humsafar India. The service will be provided in 20-litre jerry cans that are sealed with a seven-wire seal and an unique number.
Mostly generators used at telecom towers, hospitals, malls, banks, construction sites, farmers, educational institutes and small industries need diesel delivery.
This service will help avoid unnecessary spillage and unsafe handling.
Petrol is not being delivered as it is considered more volatile than diesel.
