Bhubaneswar: Odisha-cadre IAS officer Krishan Kumar has got a central posting, with the Union government on Wednesday appointing him as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce.
The appointment committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, a notification issued by the Ministry of Personnel said.
The 2002-batch officer is currently serving as Commissioner-Cum- Secretary, Public Works Department. He is also the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri.
