Bhubaneswar: India’s ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago Arun Sahu on Tuesday handed over the personal letter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to batting legend Brian Lara in Trinidad.
Modi has written to a select group of people, including academicians and cricketers, to mark India’s 73rd Republic Day.
The letters praise their achievements in their chosen fields and their strong ties with India.
Sahu, who is a native of Odisha, tweeted, “Brian expressed his gratitude and warm sentiments.”
