Chennai: Prenuptial agreements are generally made between two people before they get married about rights to property and support in case of divorce or death.
But this one is very different – and will surely tickle your funny bone.
A professor got married one condition – that his wife will allow him to play cricket on Saturdays and Sundays!
The wedding took place on Sunday in Tamil Nadu after friends of Hariprasad, the groom, got the bride Pooja to sign the contract on a Rs 20 stamp paper.
Initially taken aback, Pooja couldn’t stop laughing after reading what was written on the stamp paper.
“I, Pooja, hereby allow Hariprasad to play cricket on Saturday and Sunday for the SuperStar Cricket team,” the text read.
Hariprasad, a professor in a private college at Tamil Nadu’s Theni, is an enthusiastic cricketer and captain of the Superstar team.
He thought about this unique prenup agreement to ensure that his passion and hobby won’t face any resistance post marriage.
He and his friends heaved a sigh of relief after Pooja signed the stamp paper willingly and smilingly. The couple even posed for pictures holding the contract paper.
