Malkangiri: Life has been disrupted in Malkangiri district due to incessant rain for the past two days.
Officials informed that rainwater was flowing above three feet at two bidges at Kankarkonda and Kanyashram on National Highway (NH)-326. As a result, road connectivity was disrupted between Malkangiri town and Motu as well as between Kalimela and Padia.
Hundreds of vehicles and several people were left stranded on both sides of the bridges.
District officials said efforts are on to resume traffic on these roads.
