Cuttack: Excise department officials seized 275 gm brown sugar worth Rs 28 lakh from Pir Bazaar area in Cuttack following a raid at 4.30 am on Monday and arrested a youth.
The arrested has been identified as Karna Chandra Das (29 ) of Padmapur. A motorcycle was seized from his possession.
The accused used to procure the drug from Jaleswar in Balasore and supply them to small traders, sources said.
