Balasore: In a major haul, the Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch on Saturday seized brown sugar worth over Rs 1 crore and arrested three persons.
Acting on a tip-off, the STF personnel and the Balasore police raided a house at Sahadevkhunta and seized 1103 grams of brown sugar.
The arrested ones have been identified as Sheikh Samir, Prabhat Sethy and Yashobant Bag.
Notably, the STF till date has seized more than 23 kgs of brown sugar, arrested 47 persons and registered 25 cases.
