Khurda: The Special Task Force (STF) personnel of the Crime Branch seized brown sugar worth Rs 1 crore and arrested a person during a raid at Jatni in Odisha’s Khurda district early on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, the STF team raided a house in Jatni and nabbed a drug peddler after seizing about one kg of brown sugar from his possession.
Interrogation of the drug peddler is underway to ascertain his modus operandi, sources said.
