Cuttack: Commissionerate Police seized 106.48 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 10 lakh at Deula Sahi in Cuttack and arrested five drug peddlers in connection on Tuesday.
According to sources, Bidanasi police conducted raids after being informed about the brown sugar peddling at Deula Sahi in Cuttack.
The brown sugar peddling was prevalent at that spot in Deula Sahi for the last few months, the sources said.
The peddlers with multiple criminal records were produced in court. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
