Brown sugar worth Rs 10 lakh seized, one held in Balasore

Balasore: A man was arrested and brown sugar worth Rs 10 lakh recovered from his possession during a raid at Arad Bazaar in Balasore district on Sunday morning.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Sahadev Khunta police raided a house located at Masjid lane in Arad Bazaar and seized brown sugar weighing over 100 gram. Police identified the arrested as Rintu Tarai.
Earlier on June 7, police seized brown sugar valued at Rs 1.2 crore from a house in the same area and arrested a woman.
