Bhubaneswar: Police seized 254 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 25 lakh and arrested an alleged drug peddler in the city on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Khandagiri police raided a house in Kalinga Nagar area and seized the contraband.
Police later arrested Muna Sethi, a resident of Daspalla in Nayagarh district, in this regard. They also seized a country-made gun, a car, two bikes and a mobile phone from his possession.
