Konark: In a major crackdown on contraband smuggling, Puri excise sleuths arrested one person and recovered 57 gram of brown sugar from his possession at Madhipur Chhak at Konark late on Wednesday.
The arrested was identified as Dillip Kandi of Junei village.
The market value of the contraband would be around Rs 6 lakh. The motorcycle he was riding was seized, police sources said.
