Cuttack: In order to prevent question paper leak in the Matriculation examination, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha has decided to introduce bar code and watermark.
According to sources, the Board’s examination conducting committee has already given its permission for use of watermark and bar code in the question papers of Class X examination this time. The Secondary Education Council has prepared the watermark system after studying different agencies printing question papers in the country.
The watermark has already been used in question papers for the OSSTET examination to be held on January 17 on experimental basis, the sources said.
Shrikant Tarai, president of the Board said their aim to use the watermark was to prevent leak of the Matric question papers.
