Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Tuesday withdrew the notification on the form fill-up for the annual Matric examination scheduled next year.
The Board made the announcement in this regard hours after the School and Mass Education department issued a direction. In a fresh notification, the Board said that it will notify the date for the form fill-up later.
Earlier on the day, School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash had written to Board president Ramashis Hazra to immediately withdraw the notification.
Notably, the Board had notified on November 5 that the form fill-up will be held from November 9 to December 2. However, it was decried by the students and the guardians.
