Bhubaneswar: Shifting of Maoists from Swabhimaan Anchal and southern Odisha to other part of state were the main focus points of the meeting under the chairmanship of BSF, ADG, Command HQ (Spl Ops) Rajwinder Singh Bhatti.
Bhatti visited tactical headquarter of Odisha Frontier where he held a meeting with senior officers. Bhatti visited Malkangiri and Koraput along with IG, Odisha Frontier, Satish Chandra Budakoti; DIG, BSF, Malkangiri, SK Sinha and DIG, BSF, Koraput, Madan Lal.
They visited the newly-established COB Jantri in Swabhimaan Anchal, Malkangiri and reviewed security situation. The officers also took stock of the prevailing Left Wing Extremist scenario and response of the security forces to the LWE. Besides discussing about the strategic and tactical deployment in Swabhiman Anchal and bordering areas, Bhatti also interacted with officers and Jawans and appreciated their work. Later, he interacted with the villagers of Jantri.
After field visit ADG reached Bhubaneswar and visited SOG Camp, Chandka where BSF and SOG teams are trained for coordinated operation. He interacted with state Police officials and trainee at the camp. He appreciated the effort of state machineries that brings the development projects on Naxal area and assured all support of BSF. He distributed sweets and fruits among the trainees.
