BSF jawan commits suicide in Malkangiri

Malkangiri: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself at Nayakaguda camp in Malkangiri district on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Dharam Singh, a BSF jawan of 85 battalion.

According to reports, Singh, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, shot himself in the head with an AK-47.

Though the exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be known, BSF sources said that he took the extreme step over a family dispute.
