Amritsar: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan opened fire inside the Khasa headquarters in Amritsar district and killed four of his colleagues before shooting himself on Sunday.
Confirming the five casualties, Amritsar Rural Police senior superintendent of police (SSP) Deepak Hilori, another BSF personnel was critically injured and is under treatment at a private hospital.
According to sources, the jawan opened fire as he was upset with his duty hours, The Indian Express reported.
The five jawans were rushed to a hospital, where they were declared brought dead.
