Anti-Maoist Ops: BSF Personnel Recover Arms & Explosives In Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Based on specific information, a special operation was carried out by Border Security Force (BSF) troops of COB MV-72, 112 Bn BSF in general area Baijangiwada Reserve Forest in Malkangiri district on Monday.
During intensive search in general area Chinta Konda height.499 in Bejjangiwada reserve forest under MV-79 police limits in Malkangiri district, the security personnel recovered arms, amns and explosives which were hidden in a small cave and was camouflaged with bushes and grass.
The Maoist group have made a hideout in that area and stocked their arms and explosives which might be used against SFs operating in Baijangiwada RF. This recovery will surely be a blow to the evil designs of the Maoists. BSF has intensified combing operations in the area, BSF sources informed.
An AK 47 magazine, 7.62 mm rounds (AK), safety fuzes, a country-made revolver, one hand Grenade, a number of gelatin sticks, electric detonators and non-electric detonators were seized from the spot.
