State-owned BSNL on Monday announced that it will no longer be providing fully unlimited calls on its network. Now, the daily call limit is 250 minutes (nearly four hours).
The new limitations will apply to prepaid plans such as Rs 186, Rs 429, Rs 485, Rs 666 and Rs 1,699. Users will be charged 1 paise per second from the main balance after 250 minutes are exhausted every day.
However, BSNL has increased data limits by 50 per cent in its Abhinandan-151 prepaid plan. The plan now comes with 1.5GB data per day.
