Bhubaneswar: State-owned BSNL and other local Internet players are revising their plans, adding more data and increasing speeds in the run-up to the launch of JioGigaFiber, as the industry expects Reliance to come up with extremely competitive prices as it did with Jio.
Thus BSNL has removed daily data limit on its Rs 777 and Rs 1,277 FTTH (Fiber-to-the-home) plans. The Rs 777 plan had a daily limit of 18GB at 50Mbps. Now, users can download the full 500GB without daily restriction. Once FUP limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps.
In the Rs 1,277 plan, the daily data limit of 25GB has been removed and users now get 750GB data for the whole month at 100Mbps speed. After the FUP is reached, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps.
