Bhubaneswar: A BTech student died allegedly after falling from a stairway in his college campus in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The deceased, identified as Abhishek Ravi, was a native of Ranchi. College authorities informed the family of Abhishek about the mishap.
He was pursuing BTech 1st year in a private engineering college in the Odisha Capital. Abhishek, sources said, had filed a police complaint about ragging a couple of days back.
The student fell from stairs leading to the terrace of the building, sources added. Local police have registered a case and sent the body of the deceased for autopsy. Further investigation is on, the police said.
