Bhubaneswar: The Budget session of Odisha Assembly, beginning February 18, will have question hour and zero hour sessions. The decision has been taken in view of the improvement in COVID-19 situation.
Briefing mediapersons after presiding over the all-party meeting on Wednesday, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro said there the Budget session will be conducted in two sittings from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm. However, on special workdays, the duration will be extended by one hour till 7 pm.
He said as per the decision taken at the meeting, the question hour session will be conducted from 10.30 am to 11.30 am while the duration of the adjournment motion will be 90 minutes.
Apart from this, the House will discuss issues raised by the Opposition bench for 55 to 90 minutes, the Speaker added.
