Bhubaneswar: With the second phase of budget session of Odisha Assembly scheduled to begin on March 12, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro has asked all the members of the House to undergo COVID-19 test.
Talking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Patro said keeping the COVID-19 pandemic in mind, all members of the State Assembly will have to undergo the antigen test before commencement of the House session as a precautionary measure.
“The members will get the test report within two hours and only those testing negative will be allowed to enter the Assembly,” he added.
The second and final phase of the Assembly session will conclude on April 9.
The first phase session was held from February 18 to 27.
