Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police was caught napping as some miscreants allegedly looted valuables from the official quarters of a senior IPS officer here.
According to sources, the burglars entered the quarters of IPS officer Satyajit Nayak near Sishu Bhaban by breaking open the back door and decamped with some valuables.
On being informed, the Capital Police personnel went to the officer’s house and started investigation.
The IPS officer has been on Central deputation for the last one year.
