Balasore: Seven passengers sustained critical injuries after a bus carrying migrants met with an accident on the National Highway 60 here on Sunday morning.
The mishap took place around 7.30 am when a truck rammed into the bus at Basta in Balasore district while it was en route to West Bengal from Kerala.
The injured were immediately rushed to Basta Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment.
Meanwhile, the local administration has begun making arrangements to send the migrants back to their native place.
This is the second accident involving bus ferrying migrants in the district in the last 24 hours.
