Cuttack: One person was killed on the spot and three others were critically injured when a private bus hit an auto-rickshaw in Cuttack district on Sunday morning.
Sources said the speeding bus from Cuttack was going to Paradip when it hit the auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction near Gatiroutpatna in Chauliaganj police station area.
While the auto-rickshaw driver was killed, three passengers were critically injured.
Police have detained the bus driver and admitted the injured passengers to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
The identity of the deceased and the injured was not immediately known.
