Koraput: The Odisha government on Friday began bus service to Kotiya hamlet in Pottangi block in Koraput district.
Koraput District Planning Board chairman Prafulla Pangi and Pottangi Block chairman Jagatjyoti Pangi flagged off the bus at Kunduli.
In the first phase, a private bus will run daily from Talagolaru to Kotiya hamlet via Kunduli. The bus will start from Talagoluru at 7 AM and reach Kunduli at 10 AM. From there it will reach Kotiya hamlet at 11 AM.
The decision of the state government to introduce bus service to Kotiya hamlet has come in the wake of the recent infiltration by the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh government.
