Bhubaneswar: A businessman was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by men on bikes in the Sundarpada area here on Monday night.
Police said the businessman, Niranjan Sahoo, was attacked during a loot bid. The attackers, numbering six, were on three bikes.
The incident took place around 12 am on Monday. Sahoo was on his way home after closing his shop when he was attacked.
He has lodged a complaint with the Airfield police.
