Bhubaneswar: A woman doctor was allegedly assaulted by a businessman at Laxmisagar Chhak in Odisha’s capital on Sunday night.
The doctor, Hina Gupta, was with her mother in her car. The businessman was identified as Biswajit Swain. He has been detained by the police.
Swain allegedly had an argument with Hina and then assaulted her after she asked him to move his car. A complaint was lodged at Laxmisagar police station. Hina’s mother alleged that nobody came forward to help when the businessman assaulted her daughter.
