Balangir: Mutilated body of businessman Tripurari Panigrahi, who was also the president of Balangir Traders’ Association, was found on railway tracks near Khujenpali railway station on Monday.
According to sources, Panigrahi did not return home last night following which his family members searched for him but in vain. They were informed about a body being found on tracks this morning and confirmed it to be of the businessman.
Government Railway Police have sent the body postmortem and initiated an investigation into circumstances leading to his death. His family member are also being questioned. It is not known whether he was murdered and body dumped on the tracks or he committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train, sources added.
