Cuttack: The car belonging to Vishal Sundarka, a 31-year-old businessman from Cuttack who went missing on Tuesday, was found parked near Hotel Holiday Resort in Puri at around 9 pm on Wednesday.
His family had earlier lodged a missing complaint at CDA Markat Nagar police station here.
According to his brother Vikas Sundarka, Vishal had informed them that he was going to Bhubaneswar. “We have been searching for him everywhere. So far, we haven’t been able to get any information. We spoke to him on Tuesday morning and again in the afternoon and now the phone is switched off,” added Vikas.
In a footage from a CCTV camera installed at the toll gate on Bhubaneswar-Puri Road, Vishal is seen driving a Maruti Ertiga car in the direction of Puri. He is alone in the car. His mobile phone was tracked near Puri and thereafter it was switched off.
Vikas said that there were no personal or business related issues and that his brother seemed absolutely fine.
