Ganjam: A businessman was shot at by unidentified miscreants at Seragada near Aska in Ganjam district on Sunday.
Subash Chandra Sahu, a businessman of Badagada village in the district, was on his way to his house when four miscreants on two motorcycles opened fire on him. The criminals immediately fled the spot.
Hearing the gunshots, locals rushed to the spot and admitted Sahu to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur. He suffered critical bullet injuries.
Police attributed the incident to past enmity. “A manhunt has been launched to nab the assailants,” police sources said.
