Campus Violence: MBA Student Injured In Stabbing In Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: An MBA student was critically injured after he was allegedly stabbed by another student following a dispute in college campus in the district on Friday.

According to sources, the victim, Deepka Majhi was engaged in an argument with another student during the annual function of Barapada Engineering College. While Deepak criticised the arrangement for the function, the other student opposed him.

When Deepak left after the function was over, the other student followed him. Finding Deepak alone in a desolate place, the other student was again engaged in an argument and in a fit of rage stabbed him with a knife. As Deepak fell down bleeding profusely, the other student fled.

Fortunately, some students found Deepak unconscious and bleeding and rushed him to district headquarters hospital. A complaint has been filed at the local police station, while the assailant has been absconding.
