Berhampur: Branch manager of Canara Bank’s Badamba branch Tapan Sahu allegedly went missing on Monday while returning from Odisha’s Berhampur.
According to sources, he logged into the computer a
t the bank’s Kalapathara branch in Cuttack district, spoke to his staff at Badamba as he was getting late and then left for Badamba on a motorcycle. He phone, however, was found switched off after Patani Chhak. “He left around 6 pm and last spoke to his bank staff at around 9.45 pm. I have been trying his phone but it is switched off. We went to Berhampur and lodged a complaint with police there. We did not come across any accident case,” Elisa Pradhan, his wife, told the media.
Unable to locate him, a Badama branch staffer, Ajit Kumar Tarai, also filed a written complaint with Baideswar police
