Mumbai: WhatsApp users have reported issues with privacy settings and ‘Last Seen’ status in several parts of India.
There was 68 per cent spike in WhatsApp going down and last seen status vanishing, according to Down Detector, an outage monitor for popular online platforms. Many had reported connection issues as well.
The issues were reported across both Android and iOS platforms.
Many took to Twitter asking about the same. Mumbai Police also did!
Facebook, the owner of WhatsApp, hasn’t commented on the issue yet. Three days ago, direct messaging on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger had faced outages.
