The arrested person has been identified as Santosh Kumar Swain, a car driver who stays in Nayapalli village in the capital city, police sources said.
The incident took place on June 11 when Chief Minister’s personal assistant (PA) Chandan Kumar Mahapatra was going on his bike in Unit VIII area. While Chandan was crossing Jaleswar temple near Delta Square at around 11 am, Santosh came driving the car on wrong way and hit the former.
