Cuttack: A car plunged into a drain at Andarpur under Chauliaganj police station in the city on Friday. There was no casualty.
According to eyewitnesses, a person belonging to area was returning home in his car, a Tata Nexon, when he lost control over the steering near a temple. As a result, the car fell into the roadside drain. There was only one person in the car, they said.
On being informed, Fire personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the driver who sustained injuries in the incident. He was rushed to a hospital by an ambulance.
