Puri: The carcass of a spotted deer was found inside the stadium at Talabania in Puri town on Wednesday morning.
Some locals during their morning walk found the carcass of the deer at the stadium and informed the Forest officials.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the deer has been killed.
The deer might have strayed into the town area from the Balukhand sanctuary, the Forest officials said.
