Kendrapada: A case of ‘cash for job’ has surfaced in the Rajnagar area of Odisha’s Kendrapada district ahead of the written examination for the posts of Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) and Junior Assistant.

The incident came to light shortly before the commencement of the examination on Sunday. It may be noted here that the written examination for the posts of PEO and Junior Assistant is being held at various centres in the state.
The incident has created resentment among the meritorious aspirants and their guardians. Many of them feel that hard work and talent would be of no use if jobs are really sold this way.
