Bhubaneswar: The total cash recovery from residences of Prasanta Kumar Rout, additional sub-collector of Nabarangpur, by Vigilance has gone up to Rs 3.02 crore.
According to a release of Vigilance on Friday evening, Rs 10,37,000 was recovered from Bhubaneswar residence of Rout. The Vigilance sleuths found it concealed behind bookshelf during the raid.
Earlier, the Vigilance had recovered Rs 2,91,93,800 of unaccounted money and with this amount, the total recovery has gone up to Rs 3,02,30,800. Of the total recovered amount, Rs 12,48,800 and Rs 76,44,500 were found during separate raids on Rout’s residences at Nabarangpur and Rs 2,03,00,500 from Bhubaneswar residence.
