Catch ’Em Young: Hockey Summer Camp At Rourkela’s Birsa Munda Stadium; Check Details

Rourkela: There is good news for Odisha youngsters who are dreaming of playing hockey for the country one day.

Hockey Association of Odisha (HAO) will organise Summer Camp 2024 at Rourkela’s Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium, a high-class facility which hosted the FIH Men’s World Cup jointly with Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Stadium.

Sundargarh being the nursery of Odisha hockey, it’s apt that the district headquarter has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the camp.

The camp, to be held from April 15 to May 5, will be for two age groups – 6 to 10 years and 11 to 15 years.

Besides hockey training sessions, the comprehensive camp will also provide:

Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy & Injury Management, Sports Psychology sessions, Nutrition & Hydration, Recreation & Team Building activities, Evaluation & Feedback, and Video Analysis sessions.

The registration fee is Rs 500.
