Bhubaneswar: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested CMD Ashish Chauhan and General Manager Abhishek Chauhan of Nirmal Infrastructure on Tuesday, in connection with an alleged fraud to the tune of Rs 433 crore. They were produced before the Special CJM CBI Court and sent to jail.
As per information, the CBI sleuths arrested them on a specific tip-off. The Chauhan duo had been absconding since months and were arrested after they returned from Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
Nirmal Infra is a Madhya Pradesh based company. The duo had opened a branch in Bhubaneswar and duped people of their money.
