Mumbai: The demand for a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput case has gained momentum, and besides the actor’s family members and fans, several Bollywood celebrities including star kids have come out in support of it.
On Thursday, Sushant’s US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a video on her social media handle demanding a CBI inquiry in her brother’s suicide case.
Soon, several B-town celebs started extending their support to her for seeking justice in Sushant’s case.
Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande too shared a video, demanding a probe by the central investigating agency.
“I Pray that the truth comes out SOON..His family, his friends, fans and all loved ones deserve this closure.. I hope and pray that the CBI takes over the case so that it’s investigating without any political agendas, in the TRUE sense, to provide justice to the family!! Its high time his soul rests in peace! #CBIForSSR #SushantSinghRajput,” posted Sushant’s ‘Raabta’ co-star Kriti Sanon on her Instagram story.

Actor Sooraj Pancholi posted, “I really pray and hope that Sushant’s family get the closure they need. They really deserve a proper CBI investigation. It has been a long battle for them already. They need to know what actually happened and the world needs to know too #CBIforSSR.”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. The actor didn’t leave any suicide note and this gave rise to various theories about his death.
The actor’s father filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty for abatement to suicide in Patna and the Centre later accepted the recommendation of the Bihar government for a CBI probe into the case.
Rhea has also moved the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the case from Patna to Mumbai.
