New Delhi: The CBSE Class X and XII board exams will start on May 4, the Education Ministry announced on Tuesday.
The Class X exams will finish on June 7 and those for Class XII on June 11, the ministry said.
Practical exams for applicable subjects will begin on March 1.
All exams will be held in the offline-written mode, and with strict COVID-19 safety protocols in place. These include wearing face masks at all times and the use of hand sanitizers.
The CBSE will announce the results of all exams by July 15.
Annoucing the date sheets for both classes, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank twetted, “Please be assured that we have done our best to ensure that these exams go smoothly for you. Wish you good.”
He further said that gaps between subjects have been provided to students to prepare well for the examinations.
